Why are you running for city council?
As a resident of Indian Wells for over seven years, I'm running because I believe this city deserves leaders who solve problems, prepare for the future, and remain accessible and accountable to the people they represent. I believe I'm the right person, the right woman, for this moment — and I want to bring a genuine "Residents First" approach to local government, using my extensive civic and corporate experience to help Indian Wells thrive for current residents and generations to come.
What is your approach to leadership?
My approach to leadership is innovation through collaboration. I believe in bringing together the smartest, most diverse group of people, through community workshops and creative brainstorming, to solve problems in ways that a single voice never could. That's what a genuine "Residents First" approach means to me: not just a slogan, but a commitment to making sure every resident has a real voice in the direction and decisions of this city, and that their input actually shapes the outcome.
What are you going to do for residents?
For residents, my focus is protecting what makes Indian Wells special while making it even stronger. That means keeping the city fiscally strong, preserving our cultural, architectural, and historical heritage, and continuing to invest in the resident programming that's already a towering strength of this city. I want to explore new programs to help grow small businesses right here in our city, and make sure Indian Wells has a strong voice on regional issues like air quality, water, and transportation. Every decision I make will be measured against one question: does this make life better, safer, and improve the quality of life for the people who actually live here?
